Heat-Hawks GM 6 Comments

First off, I TOLD YOU SO!!

Now for the rest of the comments following the Heat's 98-72 Game 6 destruction of the Hawks, as narrated by Atlanta radio play-by-play broadcaster Steve Holman:

-What kind of franchise is the Miami Heat? They are embracing the label of "street thugs." And they've even got street thugs coming off the street and holding up T-H-U-G- in front of my booth!

-What a classy act by J-Smooth apologizing to Little Spoelstra before the game for the between the legs dunk. I'm telling you, the only thing he should apologize for is missing the slam. Somebody needs to nominate Josh Smith for the Citizenship Award! At the very least, little Spoelstra won't be cooking up some street thuggery.

-Or maybe not! They kicked our ass from start to finish. That's total thuggery. We might as well call them the Bloods and the Cribs. And four technical fouls from our angelic team? All Dwyyyaaane Waaaaaade's fault for crying about his hurt head!

-41 points for Dwwyyyyyane Waaaaaaade? What is he crying over a hurt head or a hurt back?

-Gotta hand it to Little Spoelstra for subbing the concussed Jermaine O'Neal with Joel Anthony. He went from doing his best Braylon Edwards imitation to looking like a mini-2006 Zo.

-25 shots for Michael Beasley? He's gotta be the most selfish player ever. Never mind that needs that type of game to get into a rhythm for Game 7.

-Those street thugs for all intents and purposes took three players from us: Marvin Williams, Al Horford and Zaza Pachulia. Nevermind that Horford was the only legit inactive. But Pachulia can't neutralize the street thugs with with his energy when Stiff-o-rama Solomon Jones is playing ahead of him.

-Play of the series from Dwyyyyyyaaane Wade, blocking Flip Murray with 7:39 left in the fourth quarter. And of course it's a goaltend. Those refs must be NBA Employees of the Month!

OK back to JMP: We'll write a preview piece for Sunday. But the Hawks, in spite of the home court advantage, have NO SHOT to win if Horford and Williams aren't getting major minutes. Regardless of whether Jermaine O'Neal is playing.
